$1,199,000

Located within the iconic Sandpiper Palm Desert community, this residence reflects the timeless mid-century modern design principles that define William Krisel's original vision. This beautiful home has been fully rebuilt with updated electrical and plumbing systems, and dual-pane sliding doors and windows throughout. The result is a home that retains… Read More the clean lines and open geometry of its original design with entirely new systems and finishes throughout. The main living area is anchored by a linear gas fireplace with remote ignition, with hardwired motorized blinds giving precise control over light and privacy. The living room, kitchen, and atrium are served by an integrated audio system with a Denon receiver and a KEF subwoofer. Terrazzo-look porcelain flooring runs continuously throughout the interior and onto both patios. You'll love the gourmet kitchen featuring custom two-tone cabinetry--walnut lowers with satin brass hardware and white uppers--quartz countertops, and a full-height slab backsplash. Appliances include a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a 102-bottle Sub-Zero wine refrigerator, a Miele professional gas range, a Miele dishwasher, an island drawer microwave, and an under-counter water cooler. Three fully remodeled bathrooms each have their own character, with quartz countertops, new showers, updated plumbing, and terrazzo flooring throughout. The primary bath features a skylit frameless glass shower. Indoor-outdoor living isn't an afterthought here - the floor plan was built around it. A spacious, private walled courtyard to the west--landscaped with native plants and custom lighting--frames gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. A wall of glass on the opposite side overlooks the community pool and green space, with the Chocolate Mountains visible to the north. Together, these two outdoor connections make the home perfect for entertaining. The home's systems are comprehensively updated: owned solar, a newer HVAC system, whole-house water filtration, and a roof with warranty coverage remaining. A two-car garage sits adjacent to the front entry. Nestled in the heart of South Palm Desert, this location offers easy access to El Paseo's premier shopping and dining scene. Just a short distance away, you'll find scenic hiking and biking trails, as well as a variety of world-class entertainment venues that make the desert a vibrant destination. Read Less
